FAQs

Absolutely. Fat tire e-bikes work well on paved roads, bike lanes, and even light urban routes. Their wide tires roll smoothly and absorb small bumps or cracks, making them comfortable for city commuting. Just make sure to follow local e-bike rules about bike lanes and sidewalk riding.

Yes. The SafeSeal™ battery of the Trevo Pro Ebike can be removed for charging or storage and includes a key lock for security when parked outdoors.

Yes. The Trevo Pro is equipped with multi-surface tires that balance smooth rolling on pavement with reliable grip on gravel and light trails. They provide a comfortable, stable ride in both city and leisure settings.

UL 2849 certification means the e-bike’s electrical system has passed strict safety tests for performance, charging, and fire protection. It ensures your ride meets the North American highest safety standards and gives you peace of mind.

Yes, many e-bikes are designed to carry extra weight — though legal limits depend on local regulations. If you want to carry a pillion or cargo, look for models rated for higher payload, robust frame and reinforced attachments (rack, seatposts). However, e‑bike regulations may vary by province and are subject to change. We recommend that buyers consult their local transportation authorities to confirm compliance. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure the lawful use of the product(s) in their area. For more details, please refer to our Terms and Conditions: https://emmo.ca/pages/terms-and-conditions.

You can add front baskets, rear racks with pannier bags, or a cargo platform. Many riders stack insulated grocery bags or crates on the back and secure them with bungee cords. Choosing a model that already includes built-in storage, a rear rack, or a frame designed to mount a front basket makes carrying groceries even more convenient. Keeping weight low and centered helps maintain balance and steering control.

SafeSeal™ batteries are built with advanced protection in mind. Each unit is fully gel-sealed in an oxygen-free environment to block out air and moisture at the source—helping prevent overheating, corrosion, or water-related failures. Simultaneously, it offers up to 35% longer battery life and added peace of mind during charging, storage, and daily rides. This design also enhances long-term reliability and stability across all seasons.

UL 2849 is a safety standard created for electric bikes. It evaluates the entire electrical system—battery, motor, charger, display, and wiring—for protection against fire, electric shock, and mechanical failure. For e-bikes used daily in cities or on longer trips, it helps ensure safer design and consistent electrical performance.

Yes. Extra-wide tires increase surface contact and grip, helping distribute weight evenly and reduce side-to-side wobble. Lower tire pressure absorbs bumps for a smoother ride. Steering may feel heavier at low speeds, but overall control and stability are improved.

Yes. Fat tires shine in winter thanks to their wide contact surface and deeper tread, which grip snow and ice better than narrow tires. Combined with powerful motors — often peaking at 500W or more — fat tire e-bikes can handle snowy roads, slushy shoulders, and icy patches with more stability and torque. They’re a reliable choice for cold-weather commuting or winter trail riding, especially when paired with weather-resistant components and fenders.

*The rated travel distance for our E-bikes is determined under ideal conditions, which include a speed of 32 km/h, flat road surfaces, good weather conditions, and the bike being in optimal condition. It's important to note that the actual travel distance may vary due to factors such as the rider's weight, road conditions, weather conditions, and the overall condition of the bike. The actual travel distance may be shorter than the rated distance. We cannot guarantee any specific travel distance and advise riders to plan their trips accordingly.

*In Canada, e-bike regulations vary by province and region. Riders should familiarize themselves with the specific laws in their area. Generally, the maximum speed limit for e-bikes is 32 km/h, which is the default maximum speed for our e-bikes. As the rider, it is your full responsibility to comply with local laws and use the e-bike safely and responsibly. Be sure to check for any specific regulations, such as age requirements, helmet laws, and other applicable rules in your province or municipality. For comparison, in the United States, our e-bikes meet the standards of a Class 2 e-bike, which are defined as bikes that can be powered by a motor up to 32 km/h with a throttle.

*Additional charges may apply for navigation service (service offered by third-party).

The top speed listed in the specifications represents the legal speed limit for on-road use in most regions.

Some models are capable of higher speeds for off-road or special-use purposes. Please consult your local EMMO dealer for details regarding the top speed of this model.

It is the rider’s sole responsibility to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when operating this vehicle, including but not limited to speed restrictions.
