The CAOFEN F80 Electric Dirt Bike is an electric motorcycle designed for off-road use. It is not classified as an electric bicycle (ebike) and is not sold as a street-legal bike.
2. Do I need to register the off-road dirt bike?
If the bike is to be used in places other than your own property, you may need to register the bike with the Ministry of Transportation. Each CAOFEN F80 electric dirt bike will come with
a 17-digit Vin number ,
a NVIS (New Vehicle Information Statement) form,
a bill of sale
for registration purposes. You must be 16 years or older to register an off-road vehicle, and you must be able to prove you own the vehicle. You must pay a fee to register your off-road vehicle. After registering, you will be given a vehicle permit and license plate.
3. Do I need a license plate for CAOFEN F80 Electric Dirt Bike?
For use in areas other than your own property. Registration and a license plate may be needed according to local bylaws. For off-road use, the license plate is the green one, and must be attached to the front of the vehicle. It does not require a renewal sticker each year.

No. You do NOT need a M license to ride a CAOFEN F80 Electric Dirt Bike. However, in areas where the off-road vehicles are allowed to cross the highway, you are required to have a driver's license.
