Dual-piston hydraulic brakes use two pistons (small hydraulic plungers that push the brake pads toward the rotor) to create stronger, smoother, and more consistent stopping power than the single-piston setups found on many e-bikes.

In practical riding, dual-piston brakes can be especially helpful for:
• Heavier riders or higher-speed stopping
• Cargo loads
• Hilly routes and longer descents
• Wet conditions where you want steadier modulation

Because the braking force is spread more evenly, pad wear is often reduced, and dual-piston brake pads can last 20%+ longer in many real-world setups.

Is it safe to charge an e bike battery overnight?
