I thought 240 km range sounded almost silly for something this powerful, but the battery capacity is massive. obviously riding hard cuts that down a lot but the reserve is still impressive
The torque is what makes technical climbs fun. You dont need a huge run-up, it just keeps digging and pulling when the grade gets ugly. Throttle control takes some respect because there's a lot available immediately, but once I got used to it the bike felt very predictable.
This feels closer to a real electric dirt bike than any ebike I've owned before. The suspension, weight, braking and throttle response all feel like they belong together instead of one part being way stronger than the rest
I ride on private land with long open dirt stretches and some rough elevation changes. The Surge V is obviously overkill if youre just cruising slowly, but once you start using the power it makes sense. The suspension stays controlled when the terrain gets chopped up, the brakes have enough force to bring everything down quickly, and the motor never feels like it's searching for more. 97.2V 45Ah pack means I can stay out for a long session without constantly thinking about battery percentage. The bike is heavy, no question, but once moving that weight gives it a very planted feel.
The front and rear wheel setup feels balanced. 19 up front and 18 in the rear gives it a proper dirt bike stance instead of feeling like an oversized bicycle
The fast charger matters more than I expected because long off-road sessions can eat into the battery pretty hard if you're riding aggressively. Being able to get it back up quickly instead of waiting forever makes the whole setup more practical.

I spend most of my time on wider dirt sections with a mix of hardpack and loose patches. The biggest surprise is how composed the bike stays when the surface changes suddenly. Throttle response is immediate, but it doesnt feel vague or disconnected. You really need to be awake when using the power though.
What impressed me most wasnt the top speed, it was how hard it keeps pulling after the initial launch. A lot of electric bikes feel strong for a second then flatten out. This one just keeps going. Definitely something I only ride where I have enough room and visibility.
