In most provinces and territories, e-bikes — even those styled like motorcycles or scooters — are recognized as legal and compliant when they meet federal and provincial standards, including a maximum 500W motor and 32 km/h top speed.
In most cases, no license or insurance is required, and you may use it like a regular bicycle. This model is designed and manufactured to align with those guidelines.
⚠️ Important: Motorcycle-style ebikes and scooter-style ebikes are excluded from the power-assisted bicycle category in Quebec and Prince Edward Island. Regulations may vary by province or city. Please check your local laws before riding.

FAQs
Yes, occasional rain is generally fine, but it’s best not to leave an electric motorcycle-style e-bike parked in steady rain or snow for long periods.
Most e-bikes are water-resistant rather than fully waterproof, so a sheltered spot or a fitted cover helps protect connectors, controls, and metal parts.
If it’s been in the rain, wipe it down and make sure the charging port and any exposed connectors are dry before charging.
For model-specific guidance, see your owner’s manual: https://emmo.ca/pages/owner-resources
Usually no. Electric motorcycle-style e-bikes typically don’t require manual shifting for the motor drive. Many use a simple, automatic drivetrain that delivers smooth power without the feel of “gears” like a gas motorcycle.
Yes, many electric motorcycles are beginner-friendly, especially if you’re looking for smooth power delivery and a simpler riding experience.
A lot of electric models don’t require clutch work or frequent gear changes, which can make the first few rides feel more manageable. Since weight, top speed, and acceleration vary by model, it’s worth choosing one that matches your comfort level.
When you’re picking a first ride, it helps to focus on:
• Power and top speed that feel manageable for your routes
• Range that comfortably covers your typical commute (with a buffer)
• Braking and tire quality for confident stopping and stability
• Safety gear that fits well, especially a helmet and gloves
Hydraulic brakes use sealed brake fluid to transfer force from the lever to the caliper, while mechanical (cable) brakes use a steel cable to pull the caliper.
Here’s how they typically compare:
• Ride feel: Hydraulic brakes usually feel smoother and more powerful with lighter lever effort, while cable brakes can feel a bit firmer and may need more lever pull as the cable wears or stretches.
• Safety and control: Both can stop well when properly set up, but hydraulics tend to deliver more consistent braking in wet or dirty conditions because the system is sealed.
• Price: Cable brakes are generally more budget-friendly, while hydraulic systems often cost more due to the components and build.
• Maintenance: Cable brakes may need more frequent adjustments and occasional cable replacement, while hydraulic brakes usually need less day-to-day adjustment but can require periodic brake bleeding and fluid service over time.
I recieved my new Emmo Max 84v just over two weeks ago.
And I gotta say I'm loving it, my only regrets is I didn't do it sooner!
I want to thank Dean at Emmo sales for handling all my questions and requests during this transaction with complete professionalism ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Also want to thank the Emmo Shop team for sending me such a beautiful bike.👍
Between the quality and the service I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
Thanks Emmo Team for making my going green quite painless!
Arrived in excellent condition very satisfied with performance capabilities with Bluetooth stereo and many more options, such as handlebar lock position with key the alarm system that comes with it I have had it out for a few rides and the performance is very smooth and comfortable, easy accessible to limited and unlimited use well easy accessible removable battery has been charged once and with a full charge lasted a day losing only 10% in the next day Coming to drop down to 90% where I believe I’ll get 10% of battery for that whole next day this is a small notion in a couple days of driving in an aspect of every day here and there going to the store out and about as well as a couple long drives, find it very efficient, within it’s battery usage while sitting with the understanding to watch the voltage in the battery, not the percentage. I look forward to a long future of enjoying many rides…
Hi Guys!
It seems that Nissan might be abandoning their bike project but we still have their new bike designs, I think you guys should manufacture these bike shells, they would sell out imo. Feel free to delete this message I just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
Love the bike. Got over 1600km on ot in less than 1 season, been customizing it slowly with colors and parts. The compatability with aftermarket and OEM Kawasaki Ninja 300 parts is incredibly useful and the bike itself rides like an absolute dream.

Took the Zone Max out for a few longer rides already, and it feels strong and steady all the way. The power delivery is smooth, and I like that the frame has a solid, motorcycle-style feel without being too heavy to handle.
I bought new batteries for my ebike, upgraded to a higher capacity this time. They even showed me how to install it since I wasn’t able to bring my bike in. Really thankful for the great after-sales support. Highly recommend!
The Zone GTS has been a blast to ride — the motor feels strong on hills and the range easily covers my longer trips. The suspension keeps it smooth even when the road isn’t, and the overall design really stands out on the street.
The Zone Max in red feels like a proper moto-style machine 🚀. Strong pull on hills and really steady handling even when riding a bit faster. The design gets attention everywhere, and it rides smoother than I expected for something this size.
I’ve been riding the Zone II for a couple of weeks now and it’s been solid. The ride feels powerful even with a passenger, and the brakes give me confidence when I need to stop quickly. Storage space is more than I expected — I can easily fit my backpack and a few extras without hassle.
Picked up the Zone Max in red and it really stands out. The battery lasts longer than I expected, and the ride feels solid even when carrying some extra weight. The suspension smooths out the bumps, which makes longer rides way more comfortable.
The Zone II really surprised me. I didn’t expect the screen to connect so easily with my phone — having maps and music right there feels like I’m riding a high-tech cockpit. Also, the front storage is bigger than I thought, super handy for carrying my everyday stuff. Overall, it’s been a great ride so far.
Emmo Zone GTS 70/45ah looks great, the ride is smooth I am super happy with the bike! The only issue I had was that the helmet I ordered with the bike wasn't sent out so I'm waiting on that to arrive before I can officially take it onto the road. The other issue is that it says all Zone GTS/max come with Bluetooth mp3/FM capabilities however under the passenger seat where the audio/multimedia silver box is supposed to be, isn't there, nor is there the panel at the side to access multimedia controls. I've written emmo to ask what's up but am still waiting on a reply. So other than that being a big fail and disappointment the bike itself looks great.
Had some issues with a loud squealing in the front tire during my first run but after a few calls they picked it up and fixed the issue the next day. Been riding to and from work in Toronto 12km each way and it is quite fun.
THE COLOR IS JUST AWESOME — I REALLY LOVE IT! CAN’T BELIEVE IT EVEN HAS CARPLAY. THE FEATURES ON THE ZONE II MAX ARE SUPER PRACTICAL, AND THE STORAGE SPACE IS A HUGE BONUS.
The Zone II MAX has been solid for my longer rides. The power delivery feels smooth even on steep hills, and the storage in front makes it practical for carrying small essentials. The removable battery is a big plus when I need to charge at home.
the color is absolutely sick — i’m in love! it comes with carplay for navigation, massive storage options with optional saddle boxes, and that 84 v super torque motor packs a serious punch!
The green Zone II GTS looks even better in person — the color has a deep, tough vibe that fits the bike’s style perfectly. What really surprised me was the built-in CarPlay screen. I can follow GPS, manage calls, and even stream music right from the display — no need to touch my phone while ridingThe storage space is way more practical than I expected. Great for carrying my work bag or groceries without hassle. This bike checks all the boxes for commuting and daily use. 👌
I’ve had the Blue Zone II GTS for a couple of weeks now, and I’m seriously impressed. The color is bold and clean — it turns heads everywhere I go. The ride itself is solid: powerful motor, smooth acceleration, and the hydraulic brakes feel very responsive. I’ve been using it for daily commutes and quick errands, and the dual suspension handles bumps like a champ. The LED lights and signals are bright and clear, especially useful during night rides. It’s not just a good-looking bike — it performs like a beast too.
Been riding the Zone II GTS for a couple of weeks now and it feels powerful and smooth every time. The range is more than enough for my daily rides, and the braking system gives me real confidence when I need to stop quick in traffic.
The Zone Max is a perfect entry-level electric moto-style bike 🛵. Super stable, smooth to ride, and powerful enough for daily commutes or weekend errands 💼🛒. It feels solid on the road and has great range too. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something reliable and stylish to start with.
