Warranty Policy, Return & Exchange, Shipping and more
At EMMO, we understand the importance of delivering your electric bike in a timely and efficient manner. That’s why we have developed the following shipping policy to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
a) EMMO ships electric bikes across Canada. Orders can not be shipped to PO box. Please contact our customer support team via order@emmo.ca for orders to be shipped outside of Canada.
b) You can pick up e-bikes at your local dealer or arrange for the e-bike to be delivered to you (additional charges may apply). Please note that e-bikes vary in size and weight, which will affect the way we transport the bike to you.
c) Shipping costs for electric bikes will be calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and the size and weight of the electric bike. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
d) On average, available items will be shipped out within 2 business days. Extra processing time is required for customised items, assembled items or orders with special requests.
e) Delivery times will vary based on the shipping destination. Once your electric bike has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can follow its progress. On average, delivery time within the Canada is 2-4 business days.
f) Any changes that you make regarding shipping once the item is shipped, including but not limited to changing the address, putting an order on hold, or updating shipping settings/preferences may delay your receipt of the Products and replacement Products and/or refunds. If you would like to change the color or size of your ebike, you must do so prior to your order being shipped.
g) Please note we are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items due to the actions or inactions of the third-party shipping carriers.
h) In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged, you are required to report any damage to Emmo Inc or the location you purchased from within 7 days of receiving the ebike, with pictures or videos for any shipping damage and proof of purchase. The cost of shipping for warranty parts will not be covered under warranty unless Emmo Inc agrees in writing to cover the shipping cost. Shipping damage is not covered by Emmo Inc if you choose your own shipping method or freight forwarder.
If minor damage that is cosmetic only, you can note the damage on the Bill of Delivery prior to signing off on the shipment and notify Emmo Inc with pictures of the damage. You may be required to ship the item to Emmo Inc before receiving a replacement item.
If major damage that may affect the safety of operating the ebike, please refuse the shipment on the basis of the damage, note the damage on the Bill of Delivery, and notify Emmo Inc with pictures of the damage.
i) You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. We advise using a traceable shipping method and obtaining shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive the item you are attempting to return.Returns and Exchanges:

At EMMO, we highly value your satisfaction and strive to ensure that every purchase meets your expectations. In the rare case that it doesn't meet your needs, we want you to shop with confidence, knowing that our return policy is designed to provide you with a hassle-free experience.
Effective Return Period:
Electric Bikes
Eligible ebikes can be returned within 30 days of receipt. This policy applies to bikes purchased directly from our online store.
Parts & Accessories
Eligible Parts & Accessories can be return within 7 days of receipt. This policy applies to products purchased directly from our online store. Non-EMMO accessories from, including but not limited to THULE and QUADLOCK are FINAL SALE, and not eligible for return.
Return Conditions:
Unopened EBikes:
You can return bikes in new, unused condition and in their original packaging for a $149 return shipping fee (per bike). No restocking fee will apply in this case.
Used Ebikes:
If you've used the product but it has a total usage of 32 km or less, it may be returned if it is free of any damages with all parts and accessories included and packaged in its original packaging. The return shipping fee of $149 (per bike) and a 20% restocking fee (per bike) will be deducted from your refund amount.
Return Shipping Fee:
A flat rate of $149 (per bike) will be charged for return shipping. The return shipping fee for parts and accessories will be determined by the the address. This fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
The original shipping fee paid on the order is non-refundable.
Restocking Fee:
No restocking fee for eligible e-bikes that are new and unused.
A restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price (per bike) applies for used e-bikes that have a total usage of 32 km or less. A restocking fee of 30% of original purchase price applies for parts and accessories.
Return Process:
You must email us at order@emmo.ca or submit a return request form to initiate a return. The following information is required: original order number, your name, phone number, pictures of both sides of the bike and the display to show the mileage , and the reason for the return.
Once the return is authorized, the product must be shipped back to us.
After we receive and inspect the product, we will process your refund. The return shipping fee and any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
If the returned item is damaged or has missing parts, the return may be rejected at your cost.
Dealer Purchases:
If you purchased the product from one of our authorized dealers, the dealer's return policy will apply. Please refer to the dealer’s specific return policy for details.
Order Cancellations:
Orders canceled before shipment will receive a full refund with no cancellation fee.
If the order has already been shipped and a tracking number has been provided, you will be responsible for the return shipping fee, and the original shipping fee will be non-refundable.

By purchasing any Emmo Inc products or other brand items sold by Emmo Inc, the customer agrees to the policies and procedures outlined below.

The warranty is extended to the original owner with the original purchase paperwork, and does not cover the purchase of products sold by Emmo Inc that is not an electric bike, electric scooter ebike, electric motorcycle style ebike, or electric mobility scooter.

The warranty covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
The Warranty covers the replacement of any defective lithium-ion battery (the "Battery"), frame, forks, stem, handlebar, headset, seat post, saddle, lights, bottom bracket, crankset, pedals, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, cassette, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware (each referred to as a "Covered Component").
Items Not Covered:
- The warranty does NOT cover such parts, including, but not limited to: seats, plastic housings and shrouds, pitting, scratches and chips, tires, tubes, brake pads, brake rotors, cables and housing, grips, chain, and spokes.
- Normal wear and tear parts NOT covered: Any damage or deterioration of Covered Components due to normal wear and tear is not covered.
- Damage due to lack of maintenance, accident, misuse or abuse is NOT covered by the comprehensive warranty.
- Damage incurred from water, road salt, and other foreign debris or chemicals is NOT covered by the comprehensive warranty.
- The labour of any warranty repair will be covered by the original store that the bike was purchased from only when it is being repaired at said store. The parts will be covered by Emmo Inc.
- Batteries and chargers have a valid warranty provided they are used and maintained as instructed and not subjected to freezing temperatures.
Certain conditions that may limit or completely void the warranty of your e-bike are:
- Altering the ebike from its original design or its intended use, eg: pulling a trailer, as a delivery vehicle or any commercial use.
- Service or replacement of parts not performed by an authorized Emmo dealer/e-bike technician.
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship of the bike's parts. If any issues arise within 90 days of purchase, Emmo will repair or replace the defective part(s) free of charge.
The warranty DOES NOT cover
- Normal wear and tear, intentional damage, or
- Damage caused by improper use, lack of maintenance, accident or abuse.
- Damage incurred from water, road salt and other foreign debris or chemicals.
All covered items must have a valid warranty sticker. For Lithium models, the chargers must match the lithium batteries. Emmo is not responsible for any damage resulting in using another brand or voltage of charger or using an Emmo item with items that are not sold by Emmo Inc.
The labour of any warranty repair will be covered by the original store that the part was purchased from only when it is being repaired at said store. For repairs that are done on items that are not from Emmo Inc, the warranty coverage does not apply.

- 1-Year Extended Warranty: The extended warranty plan is an extension to the comprehensive manufacturer warranty. It covers nearly all items covered under the comprehensive manufacturer warranty, except for batteries. It follows the same terms and conditions as the comprehensive manufacturer warranty.
Disclaimer
For Lithium models, the chargers must match the lithium batteries. Emmo is not responsible for any damage resulting from using another brand or voltage of charger.
Emmo Inc is not responsible for items modified from its intended use or purpose resulting in damage to the ebike or injury to the customer or third party.
Warranty Claim Procedures
A valid proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.
In the event of any defect or malfunction, please contact the authorized Emmo dealer where you purchased the bike or our customer support team immediately. You can also submit a warranty claim online by filling in the warranty claim form.
After reviewing the information submitted, Emmo will determine warranty eligibility. In the event Emmo determines a covered component is defective, Emmo will, as your sole and exclusive remedy and in Emmo’s sole discretion: (a)Repair the defective covered component free of charge with new or refurbished parts; or (b) replace the defective covered component with a refurbished one; or (c) replace the defective covered component with a new component.
Further inspection may be needed before determining the warranty eligibility, or the broken component may need to be repaired by Emmo. In these cases, you are required to bring the part/bike to your Emmo dealer as instructed. If you are not able to bring the bike/part to the location you purchased from, you may be required to ship the item and a copy of your purchase paperwork to Emmo before receiving a replacement item. You are responsible for shipping to Emmo Inc.

Your warranty is validated by the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection).
If the purchase includes the PDI, the Emmo dealer from whom the customer purchased the e-bike will take responsibility for the assembly and PDI of the e-bike before the pick-up. In this case, the comprehensive warranty is valid at the said Emmo dealer’s location. For more information about PDI, such as the cost and coverage, please contact your Emmo dealer.
Please allow for a minimum of 24 hours for the PDI, so that test and trial runs can be conducted on the products to ensure all systems are safe and operable. We also ask that you allow at least 24 hours for warranty and estimate examination, and at least 5 business days for repair.
If the customer decided not to include PDI in the purchase, the bike will be in a box, approximately 80% -90% assembled. The customer will be responsible for the remaining assembly of the e-bike.
You must use the original Emmo charger to charge your Emmo E-Bike. It is your responsibility to ensure that the charger matches the battery. If you have any questions about the compatibility of your battery and charger, please feel free to contact us.
Using an incompatible charger could be a fire hazard and lead to injuries and other severe consequences. Emmo is not responsible for any damage resulting in using incompatible chargers.
If you have purchased from your local dealer, your warranty is covered by your local dealer. Please contact your local dealer for your warranty claims. For online orders, please contact Emmo Customer Support for warranty inquiries, or fill in the following warranty claim form.
Report any damage to Emmo or the location you purchased from within 7 days of receiving the ebike, with pictures or videos for any shipping damage and proof of purchase. The cost of shipping for warranty parts will not be covered under warranty unless Emmo Inc agrees in writing to cover the shipping cost. Shipping damage is not covered by Emmo if you choose your own shipping method or freight forwarder.

7 -Day Return or Exchange: Any Emmo model returned must be in new condition and in the original unopened box with purchase paperwork. You must notify Emmo of the return or exchange within 7 days of the ship-out date. You are responsible for return shipping and providing a tracking number to Emmo. On all return and exchange items, a restocking fee of 20% will be withheld from the refund amount unless Emmo has agreed to another arrangement in writing. The cost of the item minus the restocking fee will be refunded once the product has been returned and is determined to be in new and unused condition. Restocking fees are 20% of MSRP not including Taxes, Freight/Shipping or PDI. Items out of original packaging will not be accepted. When returning the ebike, please ensure that all original items sent with the ebike are included in the package. Ebikes missing keys, chargers, or batteries will be refused at your expense.
If the ebike was paid by financing, you are responsible for any cancellation fees or penalties charged by the third party financing company unless Emmo has agreed to cover the fees in writing. The financing loan agreement will only be cancelled after Emmo has received and approved the returned product.
Emmo will not accept any ebike or parts returns or exchanges out of the original packaging, without prior notice of the return or exchange, or outside of the 7 days limit and may reject any products at your expense. Emmo is not responsible for any additional damage that may occur during return shipping.
Used products are final sale with no warranty and are not returnable or exchangeable unless Emmo agrees to accept the item in writing.
